နည္းနည္းနဲ႔ အဟာရျဖစ္ေစသူ

တရားေပါင္း ေမ်ာက္မ်ားစြာ

နားပူေအာင္ ေပာာေျပာမွ၊

တရား ရလာမွာ မဟုတ္ဘူး။

နည္းနည္းေလး နာရရံုနဲ႔

ကိုယ္ေတြ႔ဒုကၡေတြ သိျပီး

အဲ့ဒီတရားကို မေမ့တဲ့သူသာ

တရားရရွိသူ ျဖစ္တယ္။

A man is not versed in Dhamma,
because he speaks much.
He who after hearing even a little Dhamma,
realizes its truth directly
and is no heedless of it,
is truly versed in the Dhamma.
